ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Terravanta is currently overseeing an 50MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located in Orange County area and are actively managing engineering design for substation, transmission, and telecom activities. This project involves close collaboration with clients and agencies to navigate a complex site, ensuring seamless design and construction while managing necessary facility relocations.

Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) offer multiple benefits for our communities, especially as we transition towards a more sustainable energy future. The goal of BESS projects is to help stabilize the grid, reduce the risk of power outages, and enable greater integration of renewable energy sources by storing excess energy during periods of low demand and releasing it during peak demand, to simply described as, when energy is needed the most (midday, evening) and summer.
This Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) enables greater integration of renewable energy sources, reduces the risk of power outages, and creates jobs.
