ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Terravanta is currently overseeing an 80MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located in Carson area and are actively managing design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. This effort requires ongoing coordination with diverse stakeholders across multiple engineering disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical, telecom, transmission), environmental and land acquisition.
COMMUNITY BENEFITS
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) offer multiple benefits for our communities, especially as we transition towards a more sustainable energy future. The goal of BESS projects is to help stabilize the grid, reduce the risk of power outages, and enable greater integration of renewable energy sources by storing excess energy during periods of low demand and releasing it during peak demand, to simply described as, when energy is needed the most (midday, evening) and summer.
This Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) enables greater integration of renewable energy sources, reduce the risk of power outages, and create jobs.
