ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Terravanta supported electric utility oversight for all Purple Line 1-2-3. Our team managed the requests, engineering analysis, procurement, and construction of permanent and temporary power. The project includes oversight of stakeholders in engineering, distribution, planning and metering. This underground project represents a significant advancement in utility infrastructure, distinguished by its unique complexity and innovative design as it is the first of its kind for SCE and Los Angeles Metro. To achieve its ambitious goals, the SCE project team pioneered novel processes and fostered extensive knowledge transfer. This collaboration involved experts from diverse backgrounds, including consultants, client representatives, and the owner, ensuring the successful integration of solutions.

 

COMMUNITY BENEFITS

This project plays a crucial role in expanding the Metro Line Subway Extension that will drastically improve transportation in Los Angeles. By connecting key employment hubs on the Westside and linking busy Los Angeles cities this project will create economic and social opportunities and will foster a more sustainable and accessible community, not to say it will be a key Metro line for Olympics 2028.
