ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Terravanta was engaged to provide feasibility studies for PSE customers to determine the viability of converting their existing fleet gas or diesel fleets to electric or hybrid electric vehicles, using PSE’s suite of incentive programs. The feasibility studies were required to show a total cost of ownership (TOC), provide recommendations for vehicle replacements over time, and list available incentives and grant funding. Some of the calculations for the TOC required use of advanced software specifically designed for this purpose.

COMMUNITY BENEFITS

This project aimed to improve service for underserved community members of the Puget Sound Energy network, as well as working towards fleet conversion from gas/diesel to electric/hybrid vehicles.
